Shadows dance on the cave wall, silhouettes reflected by the fire. We gaze at the cave wall, trying to understand the world around us.

We will create an AI, and now the SHADOW will look at us (the AI, as our reflection, will look at us through our devices).

It’s impossible to leave the cave — the cave is the framework of our perception. But it is possible to become a shadow, to merge with it. And then we will disappear as observers and the fire will go out (our directed attention). Then the shadow on the wall will also disappear. The cave will also disappear — in this way, we will leave it.
